Virtual Panel on Healthcare Decision-Making and Technology - Recording available

On Thursday, September 26th, healthcare leaders, innovators, and decision-makers gathered for the Webinar “Promoting Access to Quality Information and Improving Health Decision-Making Through Technology,” hosted by ECHAlliance - The Global Health Connector, in collaboration with the Gravitate Health project, Gravitate Health Canadian ecosystem, Numana, and Canadian non-profit, Conscience, a Canadian non-profit focused on addressing market failure in drug development - also a part of the Numana ecosystem. This timely event explored how technology can enhance access to healthcare information, driving better decision-making and improving patient outcomes.

With a focus on overcoming barriers to information in the healthcare sector, the panel delivered insights from experts across diverse industries. The session featured:

  • Tech-driven approaches to improving healthcare decision-making
  • Discussions on the role of technology in patient care advancements

The event welcomed over two dozen participants globally (from across 4 continents), united by a shared commitment to improving healthcare accessibility through innovation. Moderator Dylan Roskams-Edris (Network Lead, Education and Events, Conscience) guided a fantastic group of panelists for a meaningful discourse across sectors and nations. Panelists included:

  • Benoit Larose – President and CEO, BioQuébec
  • Claudia Gordijo – Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships, Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC)
  • Geneviève Lavertu – Director, Government Affairs & Policy, Medical Technology, Johnson & Johnson Canada
  • Joris van Vugt – Senior Medical Director, External Customer Implementation Lead, Viatris and member of the Gravitate Health consortium

The session was collaboratively organized by ECHAlliance, Numana, and Conscience, bringing together global perspectives to foster innovation and collaboration in healthcare.
