I have been working in the field of patient and public engagement since 2006; starting within local health services in Italy, then doing research and working for universities and the National Health System in England, now living in Munich and working for EUPATI.

I have been suffering from migraine for most of my life, trying to raise awareness about this condition especially within workplaces. Seeing patients/citizens working in partnership with healthcare professionals and being treated like equals gives me energy, joy, and great hope for the future set-up of health services.
