The University of Dublin

Founded in 1592, Trinity College Dublin (Trinity) is the oldest university in Ireland and one of the older universities of Western Europe. In terms of impact Trinity is ranked 28th in the world in the THE University Impact Rankings 2019 and is ranked 108th in the World (QS World University Ranking 2020). Its Library is the largest research library in Ireland and one of the largest libraries in Europe. It contains 5 million volumes and an extensive collection of manuscripts, the most famous being the Book of Kells.

Trinity has a vibrant international community of almost 17,000 students, 92,000 alumni and 2,860 members of staff. The student population represents 122 nationalities. The university also prides itself on attracting academic staff from all over the world. More specifically, the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin is ranked 1st in Ireland, 7th in Europe and 41st in the World in the QS World University Subject Rankings 2019.
Our tasks
in the project
We will lead the effort on finalizing KPI in T1.4, be active in the project section aiming to identify user needs (WP1), in the section related to end-user-tools WP4, and in evaluation (WP6) as lead for the work in one of the testing scenarios on young people with complex needs and oversee iterative evaluation of the G-lens (feasibility, usefulness, understandability, usability and adherence).

Our contribution to the project

The school hosts the Trinity Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation (TCPHI), a research centre within the School of Nursing & Midwifery, which works collaboratively with healthcare staff, industry, and the public to translate evidence into everyday healthcare practice. The Trinity Research & Innovation (TRI) is the unit in College that promotes and manages the interface between College researchers, funding agencies and industry.
